Day by day

1. Day 1 Arrival in Arusha
   • Arrival: Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by our private safari guide and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha.
   • Dinner & Relaxation Settle in, enjoy dinner, and relax ahead of your safari adventure.
2. Day 2 Fly from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
   • Fly to Serengeti After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Arusha Airport for a scheduled charter flight to the Serengeti (flight time ~1 hour).
   • Arrive in the Serengeti: Upon arrival at the Seronera Airstrip or Kogatende Airstrip (depending on the time of year and wildlife movements), you’ll be met by our guide and transferred to your luxury lodge or tented camp.

   Activities:

   • Afternoon Game Drive: After settling in, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the vast plains of the Serengeti. Spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and migrating wildebeest.
   • Dinner & Overnight: Enjoy a gourmet dinner under the stars and relax in the luxury of your camp or lodge
3. Day 3 Serengeti Game Drives & Hot Air Balloon Safari
   • Hot Air Balloon Safari: Rise early for a hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains. As the balloon soars, you'll witness the spectacular sunrise and wildlife from a unique aerial perspective. Float silently over herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and other animals. The experience concludes with a champagne breakfast in the bush
   • Morning Game Drive: After the balloon safari, continue your game drive through the Serengeti. You may spot the Big Five or witness the Great Migration if traveling during the right season (June to October for the northern migration).
   • Lunch: Return to your lodge for a gourmet lunch or enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush.

   Full-Day Game Drive Spend the day exploring Mikumi with a full-day game drive. The park is sometimes compared to the Serengeti due to its flat plains and large populations of herbivores and predators. The Mkata River floodplain offers great opportunities to see lions, wild dogs, and other big game.

   • Afternoon Game Drive: Head out for an afternoon game drive to explore different regions of the park and witness the Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems.
   • Afterward, you’ll return to your luxurious lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
4. Day 4 Full Day in Serengeti National Park
   • Full-Day Game Drive: You’ll spend the entire day on game drives, exploring the Serengeti’s iconic landscapes. Depending on the season, you can visit areas like the Seronera Valley (central Serengeti) for predator sightings, or the Mara River (northern Serengeti) for the dramatic river crossings during the Great Migration.

   Activities:

   • Visit the Maasai villages near the Serengeti to learn about the local culture.
   • Enjoy a bush dinner for a magical experience in the wild
   • Continue your stay at the same luxury lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
5. Day 5 Fly to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
   • Morning Game Drive: Enjoy a short morning game drive in the Serengeti before flying to Manyara Airstrip, which serves the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
   • Transfer to Ngorongoro: Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your luxury lodge located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
   • Lunch & Leisure: Arrive at your lodge for lunch and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing with breathtaking views of the crater.
   • Dinner & Overnight: Dine in style and enjoy the unique ambiance of your luxury lodge.
6. Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater Safari
   • Early Breakfast & Crater Descent: You’ll start your day early with a hearty breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. The crater is a haven for wildlife, with a high density of lions, elephants, black rhinos, buffalo, and a variety of antelope species.

   Activities:

   • Morning game drive.
   • Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool inside the crater, surrounded by stunning landscapes and wildlife.
   • Afternoon Game Drive: Continue your exploration of the crater, which is home to over 25,000 animals, and marvel at the diversity of species in this unique ecosystem
   • In the late afternoon, you’ll return to your luxury lodge to relax, dine and overnight
7. Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha & Departure
   • Morning at Leisure: Depending on your flight schedule, spend the morning relaxing at your lodge or enjoying a leisurely breakfast with views of the crater.
   • Fly Back to Arusha: You’ll be transferred to Manyara Airstrip for a short flight back to Arusha.
   • Lunch in Arusha: Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant or your hotel.
   • Depending on your onward travel plans, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight.
